Oh definitely. I was headed down the road when all my gauges started going crazy. Pulled over did a walk around and was like hmm there's no brake lights here anymore. So that plastic piece definitely adds much needed strength to the brake light piece.

 

I believe I made a damn good choice.

case013, i was wondering how you did the tag relocate, i want to get rid of the fender but keep the tail light as you have done but have not found anything on it. thanks

 

Its an easy task.....I did a write up on it some years ago....thought it was on this site but it's on another....Google..... fat bob tail neutering....

Super easy and yes put the tail light back on the huge plastic backing plate before you bolt it back up.....
