Default Quick BCT Baffle question

Putting the BCT Monster Baffles in the V&H Short Shots. Took out the stock baffles.

Question ... what is the difference in mounting them closer to the head or closer to the exhaust tips? Back preasure? Sound?
And what is the benifit over the stock big shot baffle ?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the instructions for mine said to install them 6" from the end of the pipes.

Install them at 6" as Robbie mentioned, you will not feel any gain or change in adjusting that would be worth your while.
I played with mine using a sound meter, location did not make any difference, especially compared to how that baffle is constructed.

If it doesn't warm up soon in central Illinois, I see a divorce in your future.

The 6" suggestion is for optimum performance I believe. I really like mine.
