Talking My $50 Oil temp gauge mod w/pics and video

I was looking for an oil temp gauge for a while, the only availability in the market for Dyna is the HD digital dipstick style. How am I supposed to look down there while I am riding? Jes custom made an analog one but $160, it is more accurate but you still have to look down there. Spending a few weeks research here and there, I bought a 52mm digital oil temp gauge at a local tools store, perfect for my project! I use a 1/4 npt t-fitting $5, Autometer 52mm gauge mount $15 and the digital gauge $30. I have to modify the mounting bracket to fit on top of the powervision. Took it for a ride, it works great! I can't believe how much the temp drops while I am rolling. Now I am waiting for some hot weather so I can monitor the oil temp. YAY! Another 128auto mod to share

Total cost $50 and my labor

I'd be interested as well to see where you mounted the temp sensor on the oil pan - if you could attach a pic or two that would be great as I picked up a sensor from Dakota Digital and it is a direct wire to their Speedo/Tach that I have - I just want to make sure the mounting spot that I was thinking of using is the same as what you did.
Thanks

Nice.

Where does the PV pull it's ET temp from? I monitor this but not sure exactly where it was coming from?

I bought a 1/4npt t-fitting, factory oil pressure sender is installed on new fitting, new temp sender sits on top. See pictures.
