Default rear wheel pulley

anyone know what size the real wheel pulley is on my '08 super glide.. I've seen some cool ones, would like to get a black one. whats the difference between a 66 tooth and the 70..and which will fit on my bike?

smaller rear pulleys means more rear tire rotation per rpm. equaling higher top end and less rpm at cruising speed. but you sacrifice torque.

larger rear pulleys mean more torque. leading to better acceleration

reverse the above for front pulleys.

im pretty sure the stock pulleys are 32/66. theres a bunch of threads on the 30/70 mod so i'd assume the 70t rear should fit. if you only change one you may have to change the belt as well.

my bike has plenty enough torque for me, just wanted to dress it up a bit, trying to fine a partially black one or a powder coated black one

Stock 66T, a lot of people go 30/70.
I have 30/66, love this combo.

they're rather pricey. it'd be far cheaper to powder your existing pulley. i wouldnt buy a new one unless you wanted to change the size.

I see the belt size is different. so mine is a 66T 1 1/4?. may just buy another and have it powder coated

What's stopping you from powder coating your existing pulley if not changing tooth count? If you're having a shop do it they probably have or know a powder coater. If doing R&R yourself. .few days down time to take and get coated and re-install (new bolts of course. .)

In a club that does a lot of riding, between that and work don't have a lot of time to pull mine off and get it done. will be easier to buy a stock one and have it done when i can.

The one on my 2009 low rider was black from the factory.
