Default Custom paint - gloss or flat... Opinions needed please

So long story short, I've had an incredible opportunity to get a custom air brush paint job through a well known artist who is a friend of a friend.
Currently what we are planning is doing WW2 era nose art like seen on the bombers of the era.
Pretty set on going with a dark green for the base color, parts that will be painted are tank, both fenders, quarter fairing, chin fairing, and battery cover.
The majority of the air brushing will be on the tank and fairing, with a little on the fenders.
And this pic will require some use of the imagination because I'm currently switching out the look of my bike (going from apes to the more of a frisco/club style dyna). Sorry this is the only pic I can use right now of my bike (at work currently and didnt bring my bike to work today so can't take any more pics until I get home).
Bike is currently blacked out, including the forks which are powder coated in a demin black.
Was looking for opinions on doing the paint in a flat or gloss finish, If the forks were a gloss finish I would go with gloss for the rest, but I'm debating on how much the gloss would clash with the denim black forks.

If it were a solid color, I'd say glossy. However, when I had my fairing painted, I had a chance to see three different bikes in the guys shop that were flat colors with custom airbrushing. The effect is incredible. Given the nose-art concept and how cool flat pain is with airbrushed accents and art, I vote for flat.

Oh, interesting option. I hadn't even considered that.
Thanks for the input thus far.
