Default air cleaner hitting leg on street bob

Ok, looking for help/advice here. I got a 2013 street Bob and had forward controls put on it. The problem in having is that my leg lays against the air cleaner cover, and there's not enough room on the foot pegs for my foot to rest comfortably. I have my foot reading at an angle on its side. Any ideas? Obviously an inexpensive fix would be nice but I have the feeling that won't happen

Put the reduced reach on the controls. That way it brings your feet closer to you and you won't have to reach around the AC. Or replace the AC with one that does not stick as far out, like the SE Heavy Breather.

DK Customs have a low profile on them. Or you can switch to mid controls.

Mids are not an option, they are too cramped. I did take the AC cover off and my leg still hit. I've thought about reduced reach controls but unfortunately that's going to be expensive, as I would have to pay someone to put them on and I had the dealership put on the forwards before I picked it up. I.didn't know there were reduced reach or that the AC would be in the way. I have thought about a screaming eagle breather but the price is crazy and I was told I need to change from stock pipes to be able to handle the high performance of the breather

As mentioned, our Outlaw 587 air cleaners are low profile, and there are lots of looks, and pretty reasonably priced. Check em out HERE.

Another thing you can do, instead of, or in addition to a low profile air cleaner, get some pegs that have far more of a platform for your foot.

Check them out HERE.

DK has some great prices, and the breather looks like it wont need anything extra to install. I just hope It will be enough out of the way to let my foot sit flat on the pegs. I'm also looking at new pegs, but if they arent longer than the stock pegs, it wont help much. It seemed the SE heavy breather would be totally out of the way, but I know it's pricy
