I'm definitely going to buy a set of these bars but I really question whether I need to spend $40 on 4 grade 8 bolts or $60 on 4 grade 9 bolts. I know it's for my safety but isn't that kind of ridiculous? Shouldn't I be able to get them cheaper at Lowe's or something?
Ok so my bars are here. I found bolts for considerably less online, however I can not find them in stainless steel or chrome plated. Only yellow zinc coated, which is what Westcoast offers as well. For those of you who are running these bars what did you use?

When I installed my tbars several years ago I used the stock bolts that came with the bike. I only needed the 2 that bolt up under the tree into the riser---not sure why you need 4. Maybe Harly changed how the handle bar perch mounts to the tree? Just changed my bars recently and used the same 2 bolts.

Harley in their infinite wisdom built my trees with integrated risers. These bars are specially built to mount to the existing set up.
Whoa--sorry, I see that your application requires four bolts since you are using the bars for integrated risers---still think its okay to use your stockers.
