Default SE Heads?

i have a 2009 dyna and just did a S&S 106 kit with a S&S 583ez cam. got dyno of 90hp/113tq. i found someone selling a set of screaming eagle heads off a 2003 ultra.
first question, will they work on this 106?
second question, what will they do for power?

Depends.. I have seen several different variants of Screamin Eagle "heads" .. more information on the heads would be great, I.E. like the motor they came off of etc..

The part number cast onto each head would be better.

Save yourself the money you would spend on those heads and have yours ported and the CR set to match your cams by a reputable head porter. You'll get a much much better bang for your hard earned $$$ The SE heads are mass produced.

This is exactly right. Don't waste your money on SE heads, the results will be better from custom work.

With a 106 you should be getting at least 100 hp. Have your stock heads built for best results. Forget about SE.

I had SE heads on a 103" build and I have to agree, pass on SE.

If you search for real gain, then you must go for the real thing. Something like Baisley out of Portland or the many other go fast specialists.

I have an 09 with a 106 S&S I just built. Sent my heads to a porter to have them set for my 585's w/ compression at 10.5:1.

Don't spend money on off the shelf heads.
