Default painting turn signals

Anyone had experience painting stock turn signals with spray paint. I can find any in flat black and thinking about painting mine. Ive searched and stuff I find hasnt helped.thanks

Plastic dip them. Matches the Denim Black perfectly, and if you mess it up, you can just peel it off and start over. Won't hurt the chrome underneath. Just prep them with alcohol. I did mine on my Street Bob and like the look. Just be careful unmasking them!

Did you just clean with alcohol? Any other prep? Sanding?

Nope, just cleaned them good with alcohol. Make sure you get any wax off of them. No sanding, so if later you want the chrome look back, you can just peel it off.

Did my rears, and the taillight. Took them off, hand sanded them, JB welded the stalk to the bullet.
Painted with Krylon semi flat. Looks good.

it'll cost a bit more the na rattle can but i vote for sendign them to Joe at the powder pro and havign them powder coated. much more durable, longer lasting and better looking. also lots of color and powder types to choose from

Plasti dipped the turn signals on my Triumph bobber works fine there. Does not work good on the tank. Gas and plasti dip dont like each other.
