Default Review: Crane 310-2 cam and new tensioner shoes.

Too cold to ride out so thought id post this. I just installed a crane 310-2 cam in my 96 ci. motor. Used zippers hydraulic cam chain tensioner shoes . Right off the bat I noticed a much smoother ride with the new shoes installed . I also used a hayden primary chain tensioner instead of the stock unit.

The cam: great mid range power .. passing is effortless and off the line is still very good. Just a great all around cam. Its a 505 I believe. Good mild cam that does what it is supposed to. Be warned however changing cams will make the bike run much louder than stock.

My whole setup consists of : bub straightaway 2 into 2 pipes. ( I got 2 into 2 because 90 percent of my riding is between 45 and 85 mph here in MT.).

Heavy breather air cleaner

Terry components TV 3 ( dont know how this thing works so well but it does).

Screamin Eagle adj. pushrods

Crane 310-2 HTC cam.

Progressive 444 shocks and front end springs.

I love the way the bike runs now ... very smooth power all through out the power band.
