Why would you need to fully disassemble the forks to install something that has nothing to do with the fork internals?
You'll have to remove the front tire, caliper and fender. Then loosen each fork at the tree and slide it out. Install boot. Slide tube back into tree. Repeat for other side.
You'll need a lift of some sort.
