2010 wide glide takes a while to fire. Cranks fine, but takes several extra seconds to fire. Only 1400 miles on it. I'm new to it but it seemed to start faster when I picked it up. Could it be as simple as new plugs? Or is it perhaps a sign of something else? Once it starts is runs like a dream.

The battery , if original, is four years old. If the only charge the battery gets are short rides then the charge isn't deep enough. Might be a good idea to get a smart charger for the battery or a new battery. I just replaced a seven year battery, it was on the smart charger when it was sitting still and it also went through the winters in the garage. Brrrr.

The battery appears original, but I've kept it on the tender through all the cold. It definitely turns over strong with no trouble. Think I'll change the plugs and see what happens.

don't waste money on plugs just try turning on the master switch then the run switch and immediately crank the engine over without waiting for thefuel pump to stop. The bike has been sort of sleeping for a while after all. It should return to normal soon.
