So I am wrapping up fixing up my T-Sport I bought, but I cannot get it to start.

Engine:
95" Big Bore Kit - HD 10.25:1 HC Pistons
Andrews 26A cams
Adjustable Pushrods
.40 Cometic Head Gasket
Twin Tec ignition system (coil, module, and plug wires, new plugs)
stock heads
Rebuilt CV Carb - re-jetted
T-header with new exhaust gaskets

I have spark, I have fuel, starter is engaging the motor, i have triple checked the timing, checked the vacuum line from the carb.

Is something simple I am missing?

Could be a crank position sensor malfunction...

 

what is it doing..?.backfiring through intake.? exhaust.?.or just turning over ?have you checked compression.?

 

It is just turning over, I have not checked compression yet.

 

On an 01 could also be cam sensor
