Hi, I am looking at an 08 Dyna low rider. All stock except a quick detach windshield. 11,500 miles. They are asking $8590 for it. The problem is I'm 2 1/2 hours drive away from it. It sounds like a good price to me. What do you all think?

 

I gave approx. that for mine 3 yrs. ago and it was basically the same maybe a few extras. Most people will come down a little but still a good deal if it has been taken care of. Mine only had 1300 miles on it. I love the way mine handles in the curves and has plenty of power. Go for it. The 2 1/2 hour ride will do you good. Just take your time and good luck.

That's a great price! NADA has the value of a 2008 Low Rider at $10,500-11,000.

Don't be put off by the drive sometimes you gotta go get them....my last 2 bikes were a haul to get. One I have now was a 9hr round trip.

My Chevelle was a 24hr round trip.

 

For reference, I bought an 08 superglide in November of last year for 8000, had forward controls and V&H slip ons, only 800 miles on it. The lowrider would have cost a little more initially.

 

I appreciate the comments. It is at a dealership and they will not negotiate on price. I may ride down on Tuesday and check it out.

 

Before you make the long drive you may want to get their rock bottom, out the door price. Being a dealer, they may tack on a lot more $. They'll figure that you'll go for it because you don't want to make the long drive for nothing.

 

Seems like every used bike would be negotiable. Go there with 8k cash or something. I've never heard of used anything being firm on a price.
