Smile 08 fat bob tire align

I took of my rear wheel on my 08 dyna.. put a new tire on (same one) and I put everything back together the same way I took it off. but the caliper mounting bracket is rubbing on the rotor! I have no idea why the caliper is off and the bracket itself is rubbing on the inside . any help!?

Sounds like you may need to push your caliper forward a bit. You may be bound up where your caliper anchors (the slot in the caliper/metal tab on frame) to the frame. Make sure you dont scratch anything. lol

I took caliper off because the problem Is the mounting bracket the bracket where the rotor slides in between is rubbing on the inside.

You should only need to remove the brake pads to get the wheel off.
If you look at your rear fork just ahead f the axle there is a small hole there. that is the alignment hole. take a measure from the hole to the center of the axle and make sure both sides ar exactly the same. then your caliper should go back on nice and strait. put the pads in after the caliper is on.
Also did you put the spacers back the way they were?
