Hi there everyone I'm new to the forums I just bought a 2014 Fat Bob and I'm trying to put HIDs on it I haven't even taken apart yet I had a new set of balests lying around for my car and I ordered the proper wire harness to convert from h13 to h4 and then I bought the H 13 HIDs does anyone have any suggestions what to do with the ballasts and can I run them from under the seat by splicing in new wires same with the HID headlight plugs can I splice into those any thoughts

 

I looked at doing the same thing a while back and decided to just stay with what I have. If they made smaller ballast and there was a way to keep it in the headlight bucket of the Fatbob....I would be all over it. But there is no such thing out there at this time.

 

Why not just swap over to a Daylighter or other 7" LED headlight? Then you dont have to worry about splicing in for ballasts and what not. Would be hard to hide them under the seat, there isnt much room.

 

I want Daymakers for my Fat Bob .. interested in what you come up with ..

 

Hd doesn't have the day maker for the fb the only model they don't make it for I installed hids on a 07 night train last. I got and it was a project and a half and I think the only thing that I had going for me was he had the vrod faring and after all the modified work and seeing how little room there was that's what made me come here to look for ideas.
