Hey guys,
Bought my bike with factory chrome forward controls installed... Hate em! I just want wrinkle black mids back on it, what's the easiest way? The shaft is now flush with outer, stealership did it so did they cut it or remove and plug it? Seems like to buy everything new is pretty expensive, how easy is it to find someone that wants a trade? And does anyone have an idea of cost to reinstall mids? Don't want to tear into that much myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

Stealership should of done it proper without shortcuts.
I had fowards installed new, black and love them. Oh well.
They did a proper job and plugged the cover.
I never saw the mids again.
must of went on Ebay as someones bonus.
I would check there first.

 

Yeah been checking eBay pretty regular...can't find any kits not missing this and that. Got my buddy at the local HD on the lookout for some takeoffs but no luck so far. Just getting impatient, I really hate forwards.

 

Have a set of mids of a 14 lowrider but they are chrome.

 

When I did mine I got the mids off E bay and painted them black. Install them yourself, it's not that hard. Might need a couple of special sockets tho.

 

I have forwards on the way to replace my stock mids. Should be here this week, PM me if interested. They are chrome as well though-
