Default Fork oil. 2 quarts ???

I'm having to order some Amsoil 10w fork oil. Will 2 quarts be enough. 2011 Wg. I'm doing the Rsd / traxxion / Intiminator swap. I just ordered a service manual but have not picked it up yet. Thanks.

Yes, you should only need about 8-12 ounces in each. You will have spare... Should be changed about every 20000-25000 miles.

Oh, yeah. Don't be surprised if one side, (brake) is dark brown and the other is clear. I haven't seen a good reason posted as to why, but my guess is brake heat.

Two quarts will do it. I filled mine up to four inches below the top of the tubes and had just a little oil left in each bottle.

Those are the recommended refill amounts for the 41mm forks. 49mm is 29.6oz stock.

Maybe the WG forks need more because they are longer but the fatbob 49mm forks require 26.6 ozs.

Not sure how much mine took. The SM tells you to measure the distance to the oil, so that is what I did. Pretty simple really.
