Default Arlen Ness Big Sucker FAIL

So this afternoon I am installing my new big sucker, taking my time, torquing everything carefully to spec and SNAP! The black standoff bolt breaks like a wishbone. Put a call into Ness tech support, closed for the Saturday. Also sent an email to Dennis Kirk where I bought the new unit. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? I know ness sells hardware kits on their website but for $35? Part is maybe worth 35 cents. Pic below. Giving serious thought to returning it and spending my hard earned cash on a different AC.

My ness big sucker had no bolts that looked like that. However when I first installed it I over tightened my standoff and broke the backplate ......DOH! So i got in touch with AN tech support and they replaced it for me free of charge, even paid the postage and didn't even ask for the old one back. Stan up company AN and we rarely hear about these units going wrong here at HDF, so I would be patient with them, it'll be ok.

You can probably get a bolt like that locally if you look around.

I would take it to ACE hardware and if that does not work, I would go to Fastenal if you have one near you (but they are closed on weekends usually).

ACE Hardware has similar items depending on size as does Lowes.

Looked around today, came up with nothing. I'll call ness Monday, hopefully they help me out. The piece is the set screw that goes into the standoff assembly.

sO THE STANDOFF SCREWS TO THE BACK PLATE AND THE BROKEN BOLT HOLDS THE FILTER ELEMENT ON/ iF THAT'S THE CASE YOU CAN STILL MOTOR AROUND WITH JUST THE TWO BOLTS

I think you should be able to find a stud at homedepot. You may not find one with the internal hex, just screw it in by hand with loctite, don't see a problem.
