Default What a treatment

So with work being hectic and my stress bouncing off the rev limiter for a couple months I finally got to go on a good ride.

I woke up planning on going for a big 1 day ride and had no idea where I was gonna go. "Just get up and go"

So I woke up, scratched my dogs belly went to the garage and checked my tires and oil and left for a destination unknown. I did know I wanted to bring water and a cigar "Not really into cigar's but I had a check on the bucket list to check"

Left San Diego north to Temecula, went through Anza (it was chilly 44 degree's) Stopped for a coffee, then decided Palm Springs sounds warm. Went on out to Palm springs. Stopped for a couple breath taking sights on the way out. Made it to Palm Springs, ate a burger and decided to go check out the Salton Sea. Stopped off to take a look, then off through the Borrego Salton Seaway. Stopped off at some cliffs and had a cigar. It was 85 degree and perfect. Hopped back out on the Salton Seaway and did a slow 30-40 cruise while in felt the warmth and finished my cigar, I saw 3 cars on this road and it is 45mi long. I then went through Julian and eventually back home.

The trip meter was at 265mi I was happy to enjoy a long ride with very very little traffic and great weather. I just wish I brought my GoPro. Next time for sure

Here is just a couple pics

Oh my God, the good earth! Nothing better than a gulp of dry desert! Nothing says America like a mouthful of SW desert!

I pity our brothers that don't know what I'm talking about!

That is what is fighting for

Nice ride for sure!

Nothing like just riding with no destination in mind. my Wife and I call that "Church" because you can ride for miles without saying anything and it's on those kinds of rides I feel at peace!

Thanks for the photos...brings back some good memories. When I lived in San Dog, I loved riding in the mountains and desert...

That is awesome. I rode PCH today and before I knew it I was in El Segundo. Would have kept on until Malibu, but unfortunately had to get home.

Glad you had a therapeutic day.
