FINALLY relocated my front signals and installed HD led signal mirrors. Having a problem with the mirrors. When I plug in the connector, I blow the fuse that runs the headlight (and the signal mirrors don't work).

Could it be a ground wire that's somehow shorting things out? Without the signal mirrors everything is kosher.... Thoughts?

 

It sounds like of of the positive wires from the mirror is pinched. It could also be any of the wires in the switch housing. Try loosening the switch housings (one at a time) and see if it still blows the fuse. You might save some time and trouble with a voltmeter.

Be careful turning the mirrors on their post also. The wire running up the center can break easily.
