Default Shocks

Has anyone ever tried these: http://www.skullmanonline.com/shocks.html
I bought some Progressive 412's, 10.5" and to be honest they ride like a hardtail. I've never had any luck with progressives to begin with. 2012 FLD that I need to lower for the wife. I'm also looking for a better front end ride. Seems kinda rough compared to my other two dyna's, 99 FXWG and 07 Lowrider.

The switchback had a cartridge in one leg so it may be pricey to upgrade the front end, maybe a fluid change would be worth trying before ripping it all apart

Thought about that also but it's only got 7,000 on it.

I take it that the SB is her ride? How about a different seat or maybe air shocks?

10.5 may be a little low... I got the 412's 11.5inch, adjusted them to the 3rd knotch and they do the job for me... have'nt try them on a long ride yet.

12" 412's on my street bob and I'm happy with them over stock. When you cut out an 1.5" of suspension travel I'm sure you'll notice it.

For me, I can do 11 inch shocks solo and the ride is good. Not good 2 up.
Tried the 10.5 but did not like them. Not enough movement.
You can get a seat that will lower her or send it off and have it done. Use 11 inch or 11.5 inch shocks. That ought to do it.
