Painted the ABS cover
Evening all,
Thought it needed something adding to it and as I am going with the Tribal theme (pegs, grips and mirrors so far), i added the pattern.
laid down some gloss black over plastic primer, then cut out a stencil with some sticky vinyl and then covered it all with a flat black.
Pulled off the stencil and then some cutting paste to give it a smooth glass like feel and there you go. No clear coat yet as i don't want it shiny.
I make it sound easy but this is my 3rd attempt as i kept cocking it up!

Thanks,
I could get the wheels painted red on the seat creeper or add some flames to the plastic!
I'll get a pic of it together with the bikes soon. TBH, the other half uses it mostly when she cleans and polishes her Sporty save kneeling down.
In regards to painting skills, it took me 3 attempts to do it. Patience is the key. If you get it wrong, just sand it back and paint it again. Start with something small, I'm not ready for painting tanks or fenders, not for a long time…..
