Had that happen to my father in laws road glide......basket blew sometime after he left the line and it just rattled around inside (luckily nothing else got messed up or locked up).

He went with the Evolution Industries basket paired with the Bandit Sportsman Clutch....so far no problems and Evo Ind. told him that no matter what you throw at it they warranty the unit for 2 years, so no matter what you send it back and they will replace it.

Still rockin w/o any problems.

Default What Happened?

So you get the heads back and then just stop?

What happened did the engine grenade itself or not produce the hoped for power or what?

Took the bottom end to Hot shot Motor works out of Upper Sandusky Ohio. Dan is the owner there and did the work him self. The crank was out 0.007 and 0.017 on the back. Not good. The balancing was way out to. He welded the crank up balance it and put the hole thing back together. Had a 0.001 run-out when he was done. (nice job). But I didn't stop there. I took the heads to Gillner Engineering out of Parma Ohio. He flow bench the heads then hand ported the M.V.A heads. I will put up flow bench numbers soon.. A quick note lot of guys claiming to get 300cfm out of these heads. not going to happen and Den Gillner has been doing this his whole life. Google him for your self. We installed 12.1 screaming eagle pistons alone with woods 68-G- 7 gear driven cams, S&S roller rockers, billet off set rocker supports. adjustable push rods from S&S. Porter the intake also.installed new 6.2 injectors. This this should make 150 hp all day long. by the way the C.C.P was 196.9. should have bike running in the next two weeks.
