White Plugs.

As promised here are some plugs pics. This is after about 300 miles in town and out of town. 100% better in my opinion and I believe that plugs are still readable. Maybe the bike would go 100k running how it did with the factory tune, that I do not know. But I do think the engine is much happier now. I'll shoot some temps soon to see if anything changd there.

I'd like to chime in on this.
The color of the plugs changes with the heat range - i.e. the further into the cylinder the plug goes, the hotter it will get, and the lighter the color will look. Newer engines are designed with hotter plugs - something to do with pollution, and all that...
The "perfect color" of coffee with lots of cream is a thing of the past - for sure.
The exhaust does not lie, and it does not depend on the heat range of the plugs.
My plugs are almost white. My exhaust is sooty grey - not carbon black, but certainly not white. The motor is running ok. If the mufflers were white inside it would overheat and run really bad, because it would be way too lean. If they were light grey, there might be a problem.
IMHO the exhaust is a far better way to judge the fuel mixture. Provided, of course, that your exhaust is tight and has no air leaks.
