Saw one of these on a Slim in the Softail section, and for the price, looks like a good addition. Anyone using the 6 or 7" model on your Dyna? Don't have a sissy bar, so this looks like a secure place to strap soft luggage, w/o scratching the fender paint. If you do, a pic would be nice, too. Happy Easter to all...tomp

 

I own one. Have it off right now til I get it powdered black. I hate chrome. I will throw it on tomorrow to show ya how it looks. I love it for keepin a jacket with me for when it cools down at nite. Deff worth it if u need a spot to put somethin.

 

I use to have one. I would only buy the one with the triangle base. It's more stable as it doesn't wobble as bad and won't tweak the fender if you put a little weight on it. I had the roll bag you see below on it with my work laptop bungeed to the top in a bag and it held great for the 30 miles home.

 

Thanks, JaronB. I take it that isn't a Motherwell rack, then. I noted the triangle base and bar design, and didn't that particular model on Motherwell's site. Is that a different brand, or you think they changed build design? tp

 

I'm looking for one like that also for my '13 WG....but every time I see one listed for a dyna it says all except wide glide. Anyone have one or seen one for a newer wide glide?

I don't see why it wouldn't. If we can interchange seats the motherwell's should do the same. Measure the two holes. If it measure 10.5" it should work fine.

 

I've got a black Motherwell's rack on mine.
