Default Curious about "Dyna Parts for Sale"

I know many of us are looking to buy and sale parts for our bikes. I am interested to know if others find it somewhat annoying to start searching for example... "seat for sale", open the post by clicking on it, read the description, read the next post, read all the inquiries, read thru the questions and answers, read thru the offers, then the last post says... sold. ???

Just curious..... When you list something for sale, then it is sold.....

Can you change the item title or title post to say "SOLD"?

If this can or could be done, other people looking to buy this same item would not have to click and open and read just to find out that the item is no longer available.

Thanks, Tony

Thumbs up I was just curious.

Not trying to make a big deal but was really curious if it is possible. I myself included forget to edit or remove things I have listed for sale. I had a call yesterday about a car I was selling for my mom. I had it listed on Craigslist and had sold it the day before. I apologized to the caller and immediately afterwards deleted the listing. But some people may not know or be aware of what we can do with the listings. Since I am one who is looking to buy and not the one selling, it is more of a bother to me at this time.

And I was hoping that awareness may help to improve the situation for all us part searchers!

I always update my for sale posts or try to at least as soon as I sell something.. but yeah it can be kind of a pain in the rear end.. to scroll all the way through it and find out its sold..

A quote from the info bar at the top of the Harley Davidson Classifieds Section:

"We will lock it and mark it "sold" for you if you pm an Admin or Moderator"

I just edit my first post to read sold. I usually delete the pics also to save my usage from photo-hosting site.

My big beef is when someone lists something and then never answers anybodys questions! Particularly frustrating when you can see when they were online and know that they just ignored you...and the sale of their stuff.
