Question, is there anyobe who has taken stock forward control inner/outter primary covers and had the machined to be mid mount control covers?

Are there any bosses cast into the covers to allow this?

 

I've wondered the same thing?... this cover doesn't have the boss, but I don't know if it's from a fat bob or a softail, or what differences there are between them. I believe the gasket outline to be 06 up dyna thought, but not 100% sure.

edit: bit of googling the 60784-06 number leads me to believe it's from a 07 softail.
