Default RSD Avenger 2-up seat - Review

I posted the other day about my new Mustang Vintage Wide 2 piece seat. I couldn't pass up that deal.

In the mean time, I had almost $200 worth of Revzilla dollars. I've been looking for a gunfighter style seat, so I ordered the RSD Avenger 2-up. (My Sick Saddle is posted in the classified section by the way.)

The seat came in today and I took a long lunch to try it out. Roughly 50 miles.

The verdict?
The seat if fairly firm, and by nature of the design, narrower than some other seats. It's not a cradle like the Sick Saddle or a plush cushion like the Mustang, but it's not at all uncomfortable. The back ledge holds you firmly in place when accelerating hard.

The quality is top notch. Very well made with flawless stitching and material.

All in all, it's about the same comfort level as my Sick Saddle, but I get the look I was after.

Long trips or 2-up riding will call the Mustang to duty. The RSD will be my daily perch.

Thanks Rooti. That's why I changed to this style of seat. The Sick Saddle is really good, but it didn't fit the style of the bike since the bars and fairing.
