Well i traded in my 2007 sportster (roadster) on monday and here are my thoughts on the differences between the two... The dyna is wayy better comfort wise. Good factory seat and good suspension for bumps and two up riding. Decent acceleration for stock engine. Also a nice bonus having a windshield and bags that are detachable. The sportster was more fun to just rip around on and the brakes were way better due to dual disk fronts. Should be on the switchback! Overall tho im glad i got the dyna. Its a great compromise between a full size touring bike and the sporties!
What year was your sporty that it had dual disk front brakes? Im guessing pretty new? My old 06 xlc only had a single disk front brake, but I hear what youre saying about the overall better ride. Anyway, congrats on the new ride!
