lowrider: thundercone slipon or full system?
hey guys just wondering what your thoughts are on this. should i keep the stock head pipes and get the thundercone slipon with a big sucker and PCV? or get the full thunderheader system with big sucker and either a tts mastertune or PCV? does anyone know what the HP difference would be between the two setups? im pretty sure if i went the slipon route the catalytic converter would still be on! how bad does that stifle the hp output?
Also the slipon route is by far the more economical route to take! opinions? anyone use the thundercone slipon yet? does it sound as good as the thunderheader? thanks

As you indicated, the CAT is the issue with slip ons. You'll get a bit more sound, but the restriction will still limit the advantages of the exhaust upgrade.
In my experience, you'll end up buying the full system later anyway.
You could have the CAT removed though. It would be cheaper than a full system.

Basically, if the rear head pipe wraps around the front of the cam chest and meets a collector, the cat is in the collector.
