If anyone has taken pics of it all disassembled I'd really like to see them posted... thanks!

Not sure anyone would take it apart. There's a stabilizer on the back no one is going to mess with. I took a picture of mine next to the old mount.

If you want pics from a diff angle mounted let me know. I have the evo mount but it's similar. Same basic design just a diff top plate and you can see the washer and bolt. On the tc version it's enclosed

This is the side you can see the stabilizer

Yeah, I'm pretty much aware of all the different H-D mounts up close and personal except for the newer streetglides that are apparently using two up front. I like to know if the actual Vibra-Technics has a one or two piece isolator (rubber) and by knowing the design I could tell how much fore/aft movement it's helping to prevent, few other things. I built a custom sportster frame and mounted the motor using Dyna mounts back in 89. I recall when the original Dyna first appeared reading the factory write-up claiming the mounts were adapted from helicopter rotor blade anti-vibe technology? I've never verified it tho, just a FYI...

I can't say exactly how much movement it allows, I bet if you emailed them they'd give you all the jnfo you need. They are very good to communicate with and knowledgeable.

I will probably end up doing that at some point, just asking here in case...

this Vibra-Technics mount most closely resembles the front mount in my 04 Buell XB12S, but the Buell's is in tension and will come apart with age and/or if you are a wheelie addict, the V-B is in compression so shouldn't be a problem there, but doesn't seem to have as much fore/aft control (from what I can see) as compared to my Buell, and the Buell has no locating linkage in the vicinity of the mount either... just mostly really curious about how it all goes together.

thanks Matt, exactly what I wanted to see, and now I do believe that it contributes significantly to stopping fore/aft movement of the powertrain, on par with the original mount I would guess... my only question now is... what is stopping that lower link plate from turning? and I also see it would be easy to mod for a longer locating link if one so wanted (less swing arc)

Here's a few photos for you. Keep in mind this is the evo version and it's not finalized. The twin cam is a little different and finished
