Swapping out 1" rear axle for 25mm
It seems like the axles are cheap enough http://www.bikerparts-superstore.com...rome-rear-axle , how practical would it be to convert an 07 fxd to 25mm axles if I already had 25mm rims to go with it. What other parts would I be looking at? Im basically wanting to put 25mm rims on my dyna and rather than have the rims machined out the .4 difference on each side to clear the wider bearings, wouldnt it just be easier to swap the axles?

Basicaly im wanting to swap this guy rims. Just trying to figure out how practical it is . https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ob-wheels.html . Rather than mess with bearings it seems more practical to just swap axles unless im missing something.

Ok i better understand now, a 1"x52x15mm is a 1" bearing with the width of a 25mm bearing. This would seem like the easiest way to go, should be plug and play. Thanks a ton Oaktownraider . Just need to source some quality bearings now.
