Default Dyna 2002 T-Sport

Hi all,

Not much experience with Dyna's. Looking at a 2002 T-Sport for the wife. It's got 36K miles on it for $6300. Bags aren't in pic and was wondering if this also came with a windshield? It's a dark purple color and at the local HD shop. I like the fact that it has dual discs up front. Looks like some mini apes too and forward controls. She rode a sporty prior. Good price? Is this a good model?

Thanks for the help.

It ought to come with a fairing as well. .expensive part to replace if it doesn't come with it. Hopefully the bags are original.

By looking at the pics, don't think it has the bags or fairing.

Awesome bike for what it was designed to do, arguably the best Harley ever built. It's a waste with the forward controls and apes imo. With that mileage you'll have to look into whether or not the tensioners have been fixed, that could be a large expense.

I wouldn't touch it for that price, in this currant condition. looks like someone already got a hold of it. if you look hard enough you can find the real deal (stock tsport w correct oem equipment) for a little bit more $

good luck either way, ride safe

Thanks all for the input. Yea, kind of shopping around now. Really was looking for a low rider, but they are few and far between. A lot of the stuff I'm finding at the under $10,000 price seems to be weathered pretty good. Might have to just put her back into a newer model sporty .

Cant comment on price or value in your area, but that is in fact a FXDXT T-Sport. You can see the quick detach hardware on the fender and the mounting tabs on the fork trees. Hopefully it has those items and in good condition. Like others have said the mini apes and forwards ruin that bike. Another thing to consider is the seat height, unless she has a long inseam the 13.5" factory shocks might be a little tall for most women. And if you pull them off, you're really ruining everything good about that bike. I vote to keep looking for a low rider or superglide.
