Default clutch adjuster screw question

I proceed to adjust my clutch today and think I got it right. Looking at tighten up the jam nut on the clutch adjuster screw. When I try to tighten the nut behind the primary cover how do I tighten when it wants to rotate? Is there some way to stop the rotation so I can tighten the jam nut?

You'll need an 11/16 ring wrench for the jam nut and an allen key to hold the clutch push rod.

Check out this how-to video:

And make sure the cables are collapsed completely and the clutch is room temperature. If you don't the clutch will not be adjusted correctly.

I had a b*tch of a time doing this. That jam nut is on there really tight. Make sure the bike is in gear and get someone to hold the rear break and then just give'r on it!

It should never be that tight, someone goofed up. Also said push rod allen bolt must be held when loosening the jam nut, the exact opposite of the tightening procedure.

I bought this Snap-on 11/16 socket(Ebay) you can put a wrench on, then run a T handle allen wrench through it:
