I have searched and cant really find what im looking for and I don't have a shop manual but I just bought an 06 Street Bob 88 and I want to change out all the fluids and I need to know how much each case takes. I want to run amsoil 20w50 in the engine and redline with shock proof in the trans but not sure on primary? I just need to know how much each takes and any imput will help.

 

just did mine Saturday...2.5 qts in the motor...1 qt in primary and 1 qt in tranny.....you can run 20/50 in the primary

 

you definitely want to track down a service manual. it will make your life a lot easier!

 

Yeah im for sure getting a manual soon. What type of 20w50 should I run in the primary? Can I use the same oil I run in the engine?

 

you can run the same 20/50 in all 3 holes if you wish

 

If the amsoil gods are not available you can use a qt. of formula+ from hd for the primary
