Default Kuryakyn Brake pedal question please

I originally posted this in General Chat but no hits.

Quick question please,

I have a 2012 Fat Bob, I really like the Kuryakyn Kinetic line,

http://www.kuryakyn.com/shopbybike.aspx?s=Kinetic

I have the grips, mini boards and shift lever, problem is they dont make the brake pad for the Fat Bob, only touring and the switch back.

http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/436...-for-FL-Models

As this is my first harley I have not had the pleasure of working on any other bike. My question is how difficult would it be make the brake pad work on the Fat Bob? I am hoping that since it works on the switchback it wouldnt be to difficult, Thanks for any input!

ok you are asking about a brake pedal pad, not a brake pad. Is that correct

You might want to try Sharpie's Brake Pedal Mod. I just added a touring brake pedal onto my dyna using this method, worked great now I don't have to reach awkwardly for my brake pedal. Hope this helps.

The brake mod I did is on the same link referenced above. Just grinded down the stock pedal and drilled a whole in it. Looks really clean.

No problem, glad the link was able to help. I used high tinsle strength aluminum for mine, it polished up really nice and maintains the look of the pedal. I'm still deciding if i'm going to attach something to the underside like Sharpie did to dress it up some...the mod urge never ends!!
