Default loose wire

I just got my bike back from the shop the other day. I was in work installing a power commander and i found a disconnected wire under the seat right by the fuse block (I am assuming it is a ground wire) does anyone know where this wire is suppose to go?

That's a ground, move the wire until you find an empty hole where the bolt holding it was.
Maybe in that treaded hole on the right of the foto.

that sure looks like one of the ground wires that goes to where the battery ground connects to the bike. Will it stretch that far?

here's a pic of at least that wire bolted to the frame. Is everything working? That round thing is the starter.

I will have to see if it will reach there. the bike starts and runs I am getting a u1097 code. I had it in the shop they put in a new cam and a gear drive for it. the cam chain slippers were worn.
