I found this item on the pavement in my carport right next to where I park my dyna super glide. Is this possibly off my dyna? Does anybody have any clue what this metal part might be?
approx 1" by 1/2" and 1/8" thick... appears to be stainless steel...a little bigger than the pull top of alum can ..will post pict with something for scale tomorrow evening...it looks like a possible shim and ends look like they are "keyed"
Dosen't look like anything I've seen. Maybe someone put it there to get to you thinking and wondering, like the time I poured a quart of oil under a guys crotch rocket at work. That was really funny, didn't like the guy and he never knew where the oil came from.

Katrina05,
That does not look like anything off a Harley................
Looks to be an alien's head....the outer big circle is his head, the inner one is his eye - the bump out on the right his nose & his opened mouth & chin below it
Its a thingamabob that fits on the whatsits...whatyamacallit; a doohickey. A part that frequently fall off motorcycles. Owners simply refer to this part as a doohickey, since nobody can remember the official name.
