Default My quick detach saddlebags quickly detached

Wife and I took a ride yesterday and when we stopped, we were short a saddlebag. I don't know where it fell off and couldn't find it. It was a HD quick detach saddlebag. Before I replace it, what else are folks putting on their Dynas? If there's a better option, now is definitely the time to do it. I'm on a 08 Superglide if that matters.

Hiya,

Sorry to hear about the missing saddlebag. It happens to the best of us, I once thought I lost a helmet somewhere on the road, but luckily it was in my garage. Sheer panic haha.

A lot of our customers are enjoying our teardrop style saddlebags on their Dynas. It's become one of our best sellers. We have plenty of selections available..
Here's one video one of our customers made for us!

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns through PM.

+1 on the Viking bags. I have the Cruise Slant Large canvas bags and love them. I'm using a detachable system from CycleVisions. They're called BareBacks. They are very secure and extremely non-intrusive.

Sorry to hear you lost a bag.

If your bags are genuine Harley detachable it sounds like you forgot to turn the lock **** to the fully locked position. I have a set on my Dyna and now and then I have to shake the bag to get the lock to fully lock.

I have the same ones and a few weeks ago I hit some railroads tracks pretty hard not realizing how rough they were. It popped the locks on my bags and I almost lost one.
