I have been searching everywhere and no site says their axle is for an 06 FXDBI. I believe they are 1" axles. Should any 1"axle for 49mm forks work for this?

 

I remember looking for one for my Fat Bob. Not easy to find, but I just did a quick google and found this place that has the Klock Werks item listed for for an FXD which probably has the same front end.

When I had my FXDXT there was no hidden axle made for it. I got one for a sporty with the same diameter and front end and it worked out fine.

Street Bob have a mid glide front end so you need a mid glide 1" hidden axle. I got mine from Adjure.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will update this thread, with what solution I go with.

I made the mistake of polishing my stock axle with a dremel which must have stripped the protective coating on it. It is now rusting and causing some squealing even though i lubed the axle.
