2013 Wide Glide 12mm-18mm O2 sensor
Hi guys, looking to add an exhaust system to my new 2013 Wide Glide. I am interested in an exhaust that has 18mm bungs and wondering what people have done with putting these types of exhaust on the newer Dynas with 12mm O2 sensors. Do the 12-18mm adapters really work properly? I have read where the adapters don't position the sensors in the right place. Or, maybe a tuner with O2 sensor bypass would work better, or one with 18mm O2 sensors like the Thundermax. I want to keep it relatively simple and not do a lot of changes if possible. Mostly looking to do exhaust, AC and tuner but may consider cams down the road....your thoughts and/or experiences?

Why do you need 18mm sensors? Only reason to do it was if you were doing a monster motor build and putting wide band O2 sensors on.
Also, the position in the pipe os 12mm vs 18mm are slightly different places.
I just put Rush exhaust on and it has openings for both. Use what ya got, an plug the unused hole. A lot of aftermarket pipes give you the option of both sizes.
on my 06, which had no O2 sensors, we just drilled a hole and welded a bung into the exhaust. Can get them at any autoparts store if your ok with welding in your own. Not too hard at all if your good with a welder. I'm not so my buddy who is a welder did it in 5 minutes. Probably any muffler shop could do it for you too on the cheap.
