Default Ordered this 16x3 Drop Center Rim

I ordered this v-twin mfg that is a 16x3 drop center rim and going to lace it up to a wide glide hub for my fat bob conversion. Only concern is that the valve stem hole is on the side. Anyone know if I can still use a tubeless tire or do I need a tube for it?

Make sure you get a tube made for the side outlet and not a center outlet.
