Default rear turn signal removal

I've got what may be a rookie questions...

Is it possible to remove the rear turn signals without cutting the wires?

No. You have to cut them between the plug and light housing. It's not a big deal HD has you cut/cuts em to install the detachable's kit. Just do it!

On my bike (07 Dyna) they just unplug under the tail light lens, then route them out from under the fender--no cutting.

You remove the wire from the connector.

There is a sticky at the top of the dyna forum that shows how to remove the wires from the different connectors. Do you have a service manual for your bike?

To dissemble connector:
Google it--kind of hard to explain but you poke a paperclip in the front of the connector-- one side at a time and it lifts the plastic keeper off the pin and it comes apart--reassemble by pushing pin back into connector--took longer to type this then it takes to just do it. That's how to disassemble plug but mine fit through hole in the strut. Changed fender and turn sigs a couple weeks ago.
