I just replaced mine with the Lyndall Z-Plus pads, A little pricey, but a lot better stopping power than stock and dust free (big plus with spokes)... Really like them.. A couple of sponsors here sell them at the best price I found..Eastern Performance Cycles.. and Hogpro...

Brake pads are almost like oil threads where as long as you use a quality product and change correctly, its hard to really go wrong.

The HH pads were just way too hard on my Triumph rotors. Our HDs are probably different. I went with the creamics on both of our Triumph 900 Thunderbirds (single solid front rotors) as well as the three full floating rotors on my 1200S. I wanted low dust and a progressive feel. The progressive feel was harder for me to adjust to and going deeper into the pull took some adjusting to but I have extreme confidence in them now and expect to stay with them.

I never liked the wife's bike feel and preferre the sharper and quicker 'bite' of my traditional pads. However, I am coming around to her side and trust her judgement because quite honestely, she is a superior and much quicker rider than I am.
