How does your front tire look at that mileage?

I really dislike riding in the rain. In the last 20 years I may have been caught 3-4 times. I do all I can to avoid the rain. If that makes me a fancy lad, then so be it.

Few things are as bad as when your bike comes crashing down. Had it happen once to each of my last two bikes. Doing all I can to avoid it with my LR.

Ikelove, Just having a little fun my friend. Usually a 10-20% chance of rain everyday here in Florida. It normally rains in the afternoon (tropics) this time of year.

MRFREEZE57, About 16K out of the stock front is pretty good mileage. I will be interested in the handling & longevity comparison between stock tires & Commander 2's.

At least you got a time of the day you can expect it.

This week is too hot for me to ride. So, the bike stays garaged until perhaps the weekend.

I'm with ya on that. Been caught myself a couple times and one time was a friggin' raining cats and dogs thunderstorm. Could only run like 10 mph and got soaked to the gills. The POS (metric) bike gas cap leaked and ended up having to pull the tank and drain the entire fuel system to get all the water out.

So whenever there is a chance of rain I do some flight planning before I decide to head out on two wheels. I've only run into a few sprinkles here are there since.

That is why I bought the little rack bag on the back of my sissy bar. It has all my rain gear and soft lowers in it. I can be fully suited up for a storm in a couple of minutes. I leave the bag on the bike at all times as it is so small and doesn't take away from the look of the bike in my opinion.

You are well prepared. I prepare by avoiding rain. I hate the post rain clean-up.
