also the LR was my first HD, almost 14k miles later could not be happier with my choice. Congratulations on your new ride.

Not a stupid question. I have not had this situation. Anyone had this issue?

I believe you have to manually pull the codes. I had some electrical issues a few months back and had to look for the codes.

So the check engine light would not come one if the bike was throwing a code?

Managed to get three nice rides in over the last three days and will be riding again on Sun. Right at 4900 miles. So far, no issues with my bike. Just ad fuel and go. I got Mon off and will be getting the 5000 mile service done.

Anyone out there in the process of getting a LR as the year draws to a close?

Need advice please. Love my 15' LR and just completed tune with Power Vision and runs great. Would like to mount on bars using removable mount. Almost all the threads on this subject are for touring bikes, not our bikes.
Would like to know what you all are using.
Thanks

My PV2 Tuner is held in a mount I got from Fuel Moto. It was part of the PV2 package that they offer.

Thanks for reply. I saw that mount but cannot find for sale without the tuner. Will need to contact them and see if they sell by itself.
How hard is it for you to see the display in the sun? I saw it has that shade but wonder when sun is on side or behind you.

They do sell it, but you'll need both pieces for the quick detach...the mount and the visor.

If the sun is behind you, its very hard to see the screen.
