Could you powder coat over the battery box or would the process be too much for the sticker (for lack of a better word).

Do tell. Upgrading the horn is something I never considered until it came up in this thread.

Since the nautilus is kinda bulky, the compressor can be separated from the horns. Some have put the compressor under the seat, then running airlines to the horns fitted under the headlight.

Anyone know if this horn can be easily made to fit in the original horn location?

Or if this one swaps out okay with the original horn?

Or if this one (with good reviews) would easily fit the FXDL?

Or this one?

For anyone that may be interested, I saw this little blurb on cycleworld:

And an actual video of the bike:

I hope the LR S stays around for a few years.

I was up at the dealers today and he said it is common to buy the side mount horn and a tube clamp. Then mount it to the side of the left downtube. I think I may go this route.

Ive searched, but I need a definitive answer.

I'm purchasing Santee 12 inch T-bars. I know I need a longer brake cable. Do I need a longer clutch cable as well?

I got around to installing my flush mount gas cap and fuel gauge. I also installed a Biker Gripper cell phone mount. I also bought the GoPro mount head that fits onto it. I can switch back and forth between mounts in a couple of seconds.
As for mounting the fuel gauge it can be done without raising the tank at all. The plug and wires are held up under the tank by a little plastic clip attached to another harness. Just slip the wires out of the clip and the plug drops down where you can then unplug it.

Excellent work, Super08. As for the flush-mounted gas cap, it is too bad the LR does not come that way from HD. A lockable flush-mounted gas cap from the factory would be nice. An accurate fuel gauge would be nice too. How much would such things really cost?
