Stock for stock wheel swap on a SB
Have the opportunity to get a set of OEM black laced wheels for my '06 SB, currently have the chrome laced set... They're coming off a '09. I'm getting mixed answers on what I need too change, if I need to change anything at all. Which I'm sure I do considering theaxle size changebetween the years . Question is, what truly needs changed?

youll need to put 1 inch single row bearings in the 09 wheels then it will all work... 6205-2RS-16 is the bearing part number .. you can get them on ebay or here http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/Kit7940

the 43848-08A kit mentioned by blueangel will work for 2007 and below... the 1 inch bearings in 07 and older wheels are double row style,, the 25mm bearings in the 08 and up wheels are single row style , they arent nearly as wide...
The 6205-2RS-16 single row 1 inch bearings are what you need... I researched this before as I have 08 wheels on an 07 bike... you can get a bearing tool on ebay... I have one like this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-David...1187c3&vxp=mtr works great for pulling and installing the fore mentioned bearings..
