2014 fxdb dry sump plug torque
hey guys I got all 4 stronger magnetic sump plugs and the dry sump plug is one..this is the pipe thread plug that cant be overtightened front right corner below the timing cover...just want to make sure I get the right mount of torque..manual is on the way otherwise id check myself so im gonna need some help thanks in advance

Well i torqued it to 120 inch lbs.. so for thoseof you who buy the magnetic plugs with this one included..120 inch lbs is good with blue loctite pipe tape (i used blue original loctite) no leaks and shes good..this you dont want to overtighten as its a pipe bolt so the deeper you go the more outward pressure could result in cracked case...

thanks for the follow up though..atleast if someone pulls it thinking its the oil plug which is the thread I found it on..it will save someone from trying to tighten this thing too much before they hear a crack...saving them from cracking their case..
